License Overview
Upon purchase of a license, the purchaser may use the fonts in the following manner:
-Use the purchased font(s) in unlimited personal and commercial projects. This includes projects for clients. There are no limits to number of sales or impressions under the license.
The purchaser may not:
-Distribute the purchased fonts to other parties (including your clients and coworkers).
-Embed the fonts within software or on electronic devices
-Create template products using the fonts
-Allow or create any opportunity for unlicensed parties to personalize text using the fonts, or derivatives of the fonts.
-Embed the fonts on a website, unless a web font license has been purchased
Return and Refund Policy
The products may only be exchanged if the product purchased is deemed defective, and the error in question cannot be fixed for the user. All claims must be made within one week of the purchase, and a valid sales receipt must be provided for proof of purchase.
Installation
The end user may install the purchased font(s) on no more than two of the end users primary computers, unless a multi-seat license was purchased. Supplying the font(s) to any other parties is strictly prohibited. This includes clients and coworkers. Installing the font on any public or private network that would create opportunity for unlicensed parties to access the font is strictly prohibited.
Design Uses
The end user may use the font(s) to create designs for both their personal and professional use. The end user may also use the font(s) to create designs for clients, and other parties. This includes (but is not limited to) clothes, logos, packaging, advertisements, website banners and business cards. Any designs created using the font must not contain the font software when distributed to unlicensed parties. When design files need to be transferred to an unlicensed party, the text must be rasterized.
Derivative Works
Unless permission is granted by Rook Supply, end users may not alter or modify the font(s). End users are not permitted to share deconstructed versions of the letterforms derived from the font in which the end results can be used by unlicensed users to create personalized works using the letterforms. Prohibited uses include (but are not limited to): stamp and sticker alphabet products and digital customization tools.
Embedding Fonts
Unless permission is granted by Rook Supply, or a specific license covering such use is purchased through a retailer authorized by Rook Supply, end users may not embed the font(s) on any platforms. This includes but is not limited to: websites, software, apps, compact discs and other physical media, and gaming consoles.
Indemnity and Limitation of Liability
You agree, at your sole expense, to indemnify and hold harmless Rook Supply and its subsidiaries, employees and affiliated parties from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, debts and expenses related to using or owning the purchased products to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law. All products are sold as an ‘as is’ basis. You agree to use the products at your own risk. No warranties are provided for the products, nor is the selling party required to provide any further service related to your purchase. The seller has no responsibility to repair any errors. There is no guarantee by the seller that the products for sale will meet your requirements.
In no event will Rook Supply and its subsidiaries, employees and affiliated parties be liable for any damages whether they be consequential, indirect, special or any other form. This includes, but is not limited to: loss of profits, loss of revenue, business interruption, cost of substitution goods or services or damage to reputation.
